Things to Consider When Your Online Ski Lessons Begin

Once your lesson has started, there are still some things to think about. Staying warm tops the list!

Always Wear Warm Clothing

Wear at least three layers with hats, gloves and thick snow boots with thermal socks. Be especially careful that children are dressed appropriately in the right children ski clothes. Your ski vacation won't be much fun if you or the kids come down with a cold or the flu.

Do You Get Along With The Instructor?

As you are learning, it is vital that you get on with your instructor. Don't get off to a bad start by overestimating your ability. There is no use in letting your ego take over as it could potentially put you at risk. Also, a ski pro knows quite quickly how good you are at skiing and it is very unlikely that you will food them!

If your lesson really is an issue of personality clash, most resorts have more than one instructor. If you're not comfortable with the way the session is going, excuse yourself and speak to the concierge at the lodge. Chances are good the resort will happily place you in another session where you will be more comfortable. (Bear in mind the lodge will have to work you in with another instructor, so be patient.)

How to Successfully Book Online

It is essential to book your lesson as early as possible in order to guarantee a place within the group. Skiing lessons go quickly so booking online may be your easiest option. Also at different times of the day, classes won't be as full. For example, early morning, mid-week and late at night, there won't be as many people in the group.

Whether you are a beginning skier or just need some intermediate ski tips, book online ski lessons early so you can avail yourself of the ski instructor training you need to make your vacation on the slopes a success.
